What happens if you go quiet — the ladder

Eight plain steps. It never skips ahead, and any reply from you stops it instantly.

1. You check in with an expected duration (the button above).
2. Time's up: your phone buzzes — a quick "all good?"
3. +5–10 minutes: another text — "are you okay?"
4. No response: your safety contact gets YOUR exact words (set below) — and you're told they've been contacted.
5. ~2 hours: "Hi, it's Elevate, checking everything's okay."
6. No response: your contact is texted again.
7. Elevate HQ is alerted — a human looks at it.
8. Only if your tick below is ON: authorities/police may be contacted.

Texts are signed with your bot's name — "Elevate" appears only from step 5. All of it is SMS.
